Justin Clooney and the Door to India is Breezy Mulligan’s debut novel.

Breezy feels this calling to let every young person know they are perfect just the way they are and that when they are themselves, it is pure magic. In middle and high school, she felt tremendous pressure to fit in this box of what the perfect “female” is supposed to be. This led to a downward spiral of anorexia. What eventually led her out of that black hole was reading stories that taught her that gender is not black and white and she is not confined to a box.

By trade, Breezy is a wildlife biologist. She enjoys writing about the animals she studies and transforming them into magical creatures. Like two crazy pirates, Breezy and her husband sold their home, bought a sailboat, and set sail for Mexico, living out a dream that started the day they met. After two years exploring Mexico, they sailed twenty-one days across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii. They currently live with their son and dog in a small beach town in California.
